Chiropractic uses the bones as levers to create ideal movement and function where it has been dysfunctional. Dysfunction may occur due to injury or repetitive strain. Techniques use quick but small movements to stretch tight areas, break up scar tissue and decompress joints.
The nervous system controls every since organ and function in the body. If a nearby joint or tissue is dysfunctional, it may create change or damage to the nerve. Chiropractic decompresses and restores normal movement to improve and reset nerve function.
The muscles hang off bones (except the ones that make you smile!) and nerves tell muscles what to do. This means that if joints and nerves are dysfunctional, so may be the muscles. Chiropractic techniques work to help restore joint and nerve function to ensure optimal muscle function
